Information note – GLASS data visualization Dashboard

The 2015 global action plan on antimicrobial resistance emphasizes the need for robust surveillance and research to address the issue. The Global Antimicrobial Resistance and Use Surveillance Systems (GLASS) incorporates national data on AMR and AMU in human health, with 127 countries contributing data as of December 2022. The term “antimicrobial use – AMU” is used for both types of data. A comprehensive set of AMR and AMU data up to 2021 is available on the GLASS dashboard for data visualization and complementing annual reports.
